At Sunstone Coffee, we believe the real artistry in producing the perfect bean is the right roast for each variety. Whether it is one of our Single Origin coffees, a blend, a decaf or one of our many flavoured coffees, our Master Roaster brings out the best in each roast.

SINGLE ORIGIN:

 

South American  
Brazil Santos Low acidity with a good body. Very clean to the palate.
   
Colombia Supremo Full-bodied and medium acidity. Rich in flavour and roasted in a smooth even colour.
   
Peru Chanchamayo Mild character, good aroma and very gentle acidity.
   
Central America  
Costa Rica Tarrazu Exquisite acidity and clean cup.
   
Guatemala Antigua Excellent acidity, a medium to full body and rich in flavour. Spicy, smoky and distinctive.
   
   
Mexican Altura H.G. Smooth and round cup, very unique taste.
   
   
Indonesia  
Celebes Kalossi Heavy body and smooth texture, as well as a deep earthy, mushroomy sweetness with a hint of fruit.
   
Sumatra Mandheling Deep, rich flavour and smoothness of a low-acidity coffee.
   
   
Papua New Guinea Exotic and full-bodied, accented with high altitude Central American acidity.
   
Africa  
Burundi Ngozi Possesses a berry-like acidity, with a full-body and subtle buttery sweetness.
   
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Soft, delicate winey mocha flavour. Very low natural caffeine content.
   
Kenya "AA" The finest of the African coffees, high acidity and average body similar to the dryness of some wines. It has a very distinctive aroma with a dry, winey aftertaste.
   
Zimbabwe "AA" Plus Has a fruity acidity and good aroma with a slightly peppery flavour.
   
Our Blends  
French Roast Dark roasted coffees add a little something extra. Full-bodied with low acidity.
   
House Blend Smooth clean taste, medium body and fine finish. Each coffee is taken to a 'Full City Roast' and then blended.
   
Mocha-Java An authentic African-Indonesian blend, with a deep full body and earthy base notes.
   
Decaffeinated  
Colombian Decaf KVW Rich and dark roasted. Medium body and light acidity.
   
   
Espresso Decaf Rich flavour and very balanced aroma.
   
Espresso  
San Francisco Style Espresso Rich full body, smoother and sweeter without harsh overtones.
   
Sunstone Espresso-Euro Rich, full-bodied, robust and creamy.
   
Espresso Decaf Rich flavour and very balanced aroma.
   
Organic Coffee  
Peru S.H.B. Same characteristics as Chanchamayo.
   
Sumatra Gayo Mountain Same characteristics as Mandheling.

Using the finest Colombian coffee (regular or decaffeinated), available in whole bean only.
